Le Parasol in Ars-en-Ré was a delightful Christmas escape that ticked all the right boxes for both me and my furry friend. Nestled in a beautiful park, our ground-floor garden room made it easy to let our dog explore the gorgeous grounds, while we enjoyed lazy mornings over the fabulous French breakfast, which came with a side of friendly service from the staff, despite our limited French. After a day of lounging by the heated outdoor pool and exploring the lovely terrace, we ended our evenings with a cozy nightcap at the lounge-bar, complete with a pool table and a warm fireplace. A charming stay that truly caters to both the human and canine traveler!
